A neurofascial approach
By focusing on the nervous system and the myriad ways in which it interfaces with the fascial architecture of the human body, we can help facilitate real and lasting change with conditions such as thoracic outlet syndrome, carpel tunnel syndrome, and cervicogenic headaches-to name a few. I believe that working on muscular tissue without a thoughtful consideration of the neurofascia provides diminishing returns for our efforts.

Myofascial release
Myofascial massage works to address restriction, tension, adhesion and imbalance in the muscular and connective tissues of the body. This method has become integral to nearly all fields of manual therapy/manipulation. This video is a bit technical, but does a great job at articulating just how intricate and important a part of our bodies the fascia is.

Craniosacral therapy
To put it simply, craniosacral is a gentle yet affective form of touch therapy that works with the membranous connective tissues of the nervous system (the meninges) and their relationship to the boney structures of the body. It is especially helpful in the treatment of neuro-entrapment syndromes, headaches, and jaw pain/TMJD; however there are few conditions that would not benefit from CCST. It is lovely on its own or an eloquent supplement to the aforementioned treatment approaches.
